FRISK88MTM creates a wealth of output, much of which can be quickly plotted using gnuplot and GMT. The following output is generated:
1. Seismic hazard curves indicating amplitude vs. annual probability of exceedence. The mean and various uncertainty curves are also represented.
2. Sensitivities to the hazard for different assumptions.
3. Uniform hazard spectra indicating period vs. amplitude for user-defined annual probability of exceedence. The mean and various uncertainty curves are also represented.
4. Deaggregation of the hazard to indicate relative probabilities of magnitude, distance, and epsilon. Deaggregation is also included indicating the relative probabilities of magnitude and distance, forming a 3-dimensional plot.
5. Individual hazard curve data for each hypothesis.
Two additional tools, called POST88 and MRE88, were developed to post process the output FRISK88MTM files. POST88 post-processor calculates the total seismic hazard at the site, as well as a wide range of sensitivity results. An additional post-processor, MRE88 summarizes the deaggregation results and generates graphical and tabular summaries that are useful in the selection of design earthquakes.
